Trace pens could they be used....

The conductive epoxy was an idea, since I saw a vid on youtube, of a device that had a tube of liquid like solder, and it would move to spot of a SMD solder point place a drop then move to the next spot, It would be really nice for smd stuff, it might work for through hole items....but the problem still lies with making traces...I'm thinking of just ordering a trace pen and just making a few different sized traces and find some way to tax each trace and see at what voltage\current the trace would fail, or if it even would.
