Well, here it is, a 2430A, A TOTAL BEAST of a scope.

Normally I don't feel too good about another year going down the drain, because I really don't have much to show for accomplishments. I feel hurt by self-imposed deadlines and aspirations that I never seem to reach. My power supply, was one of those situations, but with the help of further reading, it will close a chapter in my progress finally, after 10 years of playing around.
In a way I feel guilty because I have so much, and do so little. College is a major preoccupation, and the Tesla Coil too. I can feel better after that's done.
I guess the hardest part is I'm turning 27, im getting old to still be in school, my friends are graduating, and I still have maybe a year to go. I should've been in my dead-end job by now.

Looking on the brighter side, I got a killer scope, the TC is almost done, my power supply will go through a final revision, I will get another 12 units out of the way, and I still know 100x more then my friends who are graduating.

Nice scope dude! And if you ever feel depressed, remember what Calvin and Hobbes said, the secret of happiness is to lower your expectations until they're already met cheesey

I watched the first video about the headsets, and the sparking headset was pretty funny at the end.

I took the front bezel off and cleaned the plastic protective parts for the scope CRT and got the black smudge off. It was at the origin. I dunno what it was or how it got there, but with that smudge gone, it looks pretty new now with the exception of some small scratches in the plastic. But who cares, the optics are clean now. Makes me feel better. Wasn't as hard as I thought, and I didn't have to perform any surgery.
