could anyone help me obtain 20 HGTG30N60C3D IGBTs I would really like the help as they will go to a great coil and produce over 72" of arcs. All the faluars I have had were to primary to secondary arcing and have decided to raise the secondary even more to prevent that. I jest need some more parts to continue.

Thanks for all the help,

Daniel.

Huh? This is going to cost like $130 + shipping and I don't think you are going to make anyone sample you this, maybe in USA if you have links with the company.

Where do you live?

20 pieces is defendantly a no go, I tried once to sample 2 HGT1N40N60A4D igbt's guess what I don't have them. And yes I know it's a lot money for a 16 year old. But if you want something you should pay for it like the rest of us. The cost of the components is for everyone a problem especially if your a teenager.

It's usually not possible to get free samples of the more expensive parts unless you're working in the electronics industry and have a company address. And I'm sure anyone here who could get samples would rather keep them for themselves... mistrust

If anyone wants to donate or sell IGBTs to rocketry76, please post here, otherwise the thread will be locked soon.

If you're selling, you might want to bear in mind that you're not supposed to resell samples and we take a dim view of anyone trying to do that, ever since a certain DRSSTC related incident that may even have changed Fairchild's sampling policy permanently for the worse.

The max sample quantity for the HGTG30N60C3D is 10pcs, even when you work in the industry and have an approved e-mail addres.

Legal implications aside, you are either going to have to find another method to tune your coil that doesn't involve enough silicon to power a small nation, or start looking for silicon on ebay...
