I deffinately like this method also! After my long hiatus, I am itching to do some more electrical projects! Now, I just need to find a small cheap laser printer...

I got a used HP1012 from a friend with the speicific excuse to myself that I should get it so I could make my own PCBs. but its a great little printer for personal use. I didnt realize how little I needed color. My inkjet has been 'out of ink' (stupid chipped cartriges...) for probably 6 months now. I have spares away in drawers, just never needed to use it yet.

Steve, chemicals are dirt cheap, a 1kg bag for $5 will last you a long time, unless you run a professioal PCB business. In Europe you can get ferric cloride and Sodium persulphate from the electronics suppliers that also sell componentes, so I would try radio shack or DigiKey.
