An interesting paper from the Journal Of Social Structure...
A little dry in places, but this research paper gives some interesting incite into the social structure of forums not unlike this one. I suspect we're a something of an exception though, in that 'Answer People' make up a good bit more than 2% of our membership here (atleast it would seem).

Interesting that we (or at least, used to) have a predominance of "answer people" in our membership. Reckon S/N ratio is directly proportional to AP? :P
