I was drawing arcs at 12V with my driver. i was running it for about 10 sec when the output dropped to 0 and the driver was making this high pitched whining sound. Did my flyback die again or do i need new MOSFETs because all of my flybacks have died when running with a 12V input.

Unless your power supply is making the high pitched sound your driver is ok. Sounds like the secondary of your flyback might have shorted. How much power are you pumping through the flyback? It seems odd that it would die just from being run off 12V.

mine usually dies when I run it higher than 60V while drawing 7" arcs for over 5 min. I have been using 30n60 IGBTs and 200ohm on the gate with its own PSU. I would try my design it works really well though you need ultra fast rectifiers going to the gate and less gate resistance for witch ever transistor you use. to see if your fets failed it is really easy just measure the resistance across the source and drain.

Unless it failed open. The power supply is a 7AH 12V battery. Would measuring the power input to the flyback be measuring the current into the driver? If not how would I measure it?

the power output can be measured by doing that because the gate shouldn't use that much power but I would recommend building my ZVS because you can power it from a Variac and get much higher power levels. Although I would recommend that you could use a old computer PSU to get 12v 30A+ .

I don't have the MOSFETs for over 24V input. Why would I want a 12V@+30A power supply when I'm drawing less than 5A with my 7AH battery? I think my MOSFETs have died sad because I'm only drawing 0.03A with no output. Where would I get some IRFP260s?

Hold on, are you sure the mosfets are dead? Just do a conductivity test on them to make sure. You said earlier that the driver was squealing which implies that it was oscillating, so the mosfets can't be dead. Also power mosfets fail short, so current draw would be enormous. Since the current draw is so low the secondary can't be shorted either. Maybe it's just a loose connection somewhere? I've had parts get hot enough to melt their solder and disconnect. Recheck your connections and test the components for shorts.

The driver had stopped making that whining sound so I rewound the inductor and now it sometimes whines. it will sometimes have a high voltage output for a moment and then it starts whining again. Is there any way to remove the high voltage pots from the flyback? Are metalized polyester film capacitors (the ones you find in some power supplies that is a small rectangular brick) fine for ZVS use or is the frequency too high?
