hi, I noticed something weird thing with my driver. I use two unrectified flybacks, with their secondaries in series and primaries in parallel. Each has 8+8 primary and supply voltage is 40-50V. The weird thing is, when I draw arcs between the two secondaries, it works normally. But when I draw an arc just from one secondary (to the center tap), just after the arc extinguishes the outputs start hissing loudly (corona), so I switch it off. This doesn't appear to be destructive for the driver, but it is certainly not normal. I think for some reason the frequency is shooting way too high, and this causes the hissing. But why it happens, and only when I draw arc from only one flyback? I have only about 5cm (total) of thick wire between the drains and the tank capacitor, so parasitic inductance shouldn't be the problem(?) , Also, I'm using the "improved" version with the extra primaries and 100 ohm resistors, Did this happen to anyone, if so how do you fix it?
