Yes kilo is k, K is Kelvin. In The International System of Units, that we should try to use whenever possible.
Byte magazine started using KB for 1024 bytes and Kb for 1024 bits but after the internet happened it all fell apart. Now we have KiB (kibibyte) and Kibit (kibibit). kilo binary (Ki) means 1024 so then kilo ternary must be 729, maybe that could get the prefix Ky.

If it puts out 6 KV(or whatever) it's just like a normal 12 KV center tap that is cut in half. ( wonder if the manufacture just makes 12 KV trans and actually cuts them in half, hehe) Center tap is grounded to the core. Like Billybobjoe said. It's just like a reguarl nst, if you measure from HV to ground (secondary center tap) it's 6 KV, if you go from HV terminal to HV terminal it's 12 KV. All the ones that I have see are like that or like the one you have. I have seen pole pigs that just have one HV input, or out put when you run them backwards, and you just use ground for the other side, which is shared by the high and low voltage. I'd just run it like the you have a "hot" side and "cold" side, using the ground terminal and the hv terminal for the TC's tank side.

Hey thanks guys, hey sorry to take this off topic but this reminds me of General Motors cutting the rear two (or front 2?) cylinders off the small block 350cubic inch V8 and sold it as the 4.3L V6 used in the S10's and the like. That's why the 4.3L sounds almost exactly like a V8 and not most smoother smaller V6's. And Porsche, my eye doctor has a 1989 Porsche 944 that has half of a V8, they did the opposite and cut one SIDE of the engine off leaving a bank of 4 cylinders at a (45 degree?) slanted angle! LOL. Heck I guess it beats redesigning a new engine block. In the GM situation the V6's use the same exact belt and accessory train and transmission as the V8 vehicles which saves them money too (and makes it easy to put a small block in your S10 like I was going to do! Just take the belt driven fan off the front and use an electric fan and you've got the room for the extra 2 cylinders!).
