Hello guys,
Thanks to some very useful advice which I got from some of the forum guys ( Steve Connor, Sulaiman etc) I finally got my first tesla coil wroking. I ended up using an oil burner transformer , 23 mA, 10 Kv, 60 Hz. I got about a 20 cm long arc to a nearby sharp objest. Also seen in the picture are some florescent lamps ( Nitrogen , High pressure Xenon) that lit up when Tesla coil turned on.
Thanks again for all the useful help.
