Hey all I received the pwrx modules. Can't wait to give them a run. They're much slower than the eupec bricks I was using before, but I think I can tweak my setup just a bit. I ran at 41 kHz before at 8 turns. Since I still have a couple turns to spare I can detune to the lower pole for maybe about 36-38 kHz? The datasheet says 25-28 kHz, but for those of you used it, how fast could you get them to go?

I run mine at 40khz just fine. Ive seen larger (slower) CM600s running at over 100khz too.
But watch out for the gate capacitance... its considerably larger than those eupec bricks you used (IIRC). You might not get away with the gate driver you have now. You should probably either look into my high side drivers, or look at HVGUY's gate driver (which uses a GDT, but from a high voltage bridge and stepped down to provide lots of current on the secondaries). Aron's solution might be a little easier, but id suspect he might see a tad more delay than mine (though, this is strongly based on how its designed and the parts used).

Okay, great! got a schematic of your high side setup?
I'm looking at hvguy's it seems like he uses 20:2 turn ratio (?). Which would give him about 16 volts for the igbts.
I've already broken one of the gate drive pins on the IGBTs. I really don't like how this particular model doesn't use screws. I suspect it was probably mishandled with the long leads during removal. I had to do some drilling on the IGBT surface and I was able to solder my own pins.
