I'm building an eolic turbine with 1m^2 swept area, so i need to buy some neodymium magnets (8 or 16) to build the generator. The preferred size is 40mm x 20mm x 5 (or 10)mm magnetized perpendicularly at the biggest faces. Anyone knows where i can get these magnets or cheap prices?

The only place I know of that seems reliable is Link2 They seem to have something close to what you want, and when I asked if they would ship to Turkey, they said yes. So I think Italy should be no problem.

around 7 dollars US a piece though.

I'd suggest these guys,http://www.rare-earth-magnets.com/ they have reasonable pricing, also I'd say ebay I got a 1x1x1 cube of 32 smaller magnets and they're all neo's, I hate placing the stronger feilds next to a magnetic metal then its a pain to get off.
