First of all, I can't believe it took me this long to realize that there is a community dedicated to high voltage... so I am glad to join!!!

I while back I collaborated with a friend of mine and we made some interesting time-lapse photos using HV sources. Enjoy!

Wow... those are so beautiful. It's so nice to see someone who puts a great camera to great use -- we'd love to see any more =)

Can you tell us a little about your "HV sources"? Have you considered long-exposure photography of pulse discharges?

Haaa! I did exactly what you see. I put my camera on a 15 second time lapse, and held my hands there for a few seconds with a flashlight on it. Then the next 10 seconds I fired up a flyback transformer and made streamers in the spacial area where my hands were. It took a few tries, but it came out great... looks like a fairy in a magical globe.
