On one of my computers, when I plug in keyboards the don't work. The computer doesn't recognize them and they don't power up EXCEPT for one huge ugly ergonomic keyboard (I've tried 5 different ones). I think it might be somthing thats been changed in the CMOS but I'm not sure..Any help?

Firs you use Google to find out if there is something peculiar with that motherboard.
Then you clear the CMOS completely by disconnecting the battery and draining the capacitor. Usually there are jumpers on the motherboard for that. Sometimes it will clear up mystery problems.
If that does not help then you need to find the difference between the working keyboard and the others.

To help we really need more information. What make/model of keyboards are you trying? Is it? PS/2, AT, USB, etc... What make/model of mainboard are you using?
Silly question but have you tried the keyboards in other computers. (Sorry)
