If they are produced at all, the amount of X rays is probably tiny and hardly to be useful for anything. IIRC, our member c4r0 made some X rays using a vacuum diode and small SSTC.
He had to use sensitive X ray screen and not much can actually be seen.

I'm not worrying yet, as I doubt any x-rays could even penetrate the glass at the low voltages I'm using. I'll try some proper experiments later when I make a SSTC, and post any results here. Thanks for the input.
