Hi
I am looking at building a Web Based Juke Box that is to used over a network. Following is a list of my requirements: 1. Ability for 5 or so user over a network 2. Each user can have their own playlist 3. Audio will be played through the users PC 4. Web based classic style interface ie. A single page will have two Albulm per page artwork down the left side, with the track list down the right. A button to scroll through the Albulms 5. Maybe My-SQL for track lists etc for easier updating 6. Ability to skip through tracks on the play list. 7. MUST be served from linux
I have so far not seen anything that meets my needs, they all seem to use a boring line type list of all the songs.
Anybody know of something that might meet my needs, or can help with the Webpage coding?? Whether the interface is flash or java or whatever.....
I am planning to document everything for everybody else reference, but the interface has got me stuffed!!
Cheers, Gitch

Try sourceforge:
Then videoLan in Perl: videoLan (see VLS):
IIRC, winAmp also has network play lists etc.
