Not sure if this belonged in Ebay sales, no one will really want to buy it (I hope)

I thought this might give someone a chuckle, you've got to love the old dusty suitcase and the use of the label maker, no doubt left over from some disappointing Christmas...

At least this thing is a real Tesla coil (powered by an ignition coil, it looks like). The thing I really hate to see is people buying that "Telsa Violet Ray" stuff. Wow. You've gotta be some kind of...well...we won't go any further with *that*! (I feel dirty for even mentioning it...maybe I should go throw some salt over my shoulders)

I wonder how many people have died thinking that these things would 'cure' them.

I also wonder what kind of a person sells these false-hopes. Must be pretty desperate for money......hummmm.......could be quite profitable though *slaps self* NO ...NO Bad haz! must remain poor student.

(heheheh)

HAHA, I was just laughing at this thing the other day. There is another thing people make that is similar to this that goes for around 10,000. Its basically a Tesla coil but has about 5 or so tubes of different gases on it that glow like a plasma globe. It looked kinda cool but definitely a scam.

Honestly I could never get myself to scam people out of their money like that. It's amazing what some people will believe. This is almost as dumb as people drinking radon water in the 50's. That guy would be better off just selling it as a Tesla coil.

well it depends on what you define as a "Tesla coil" because the violet ray was invented by Tesla although it was marketed better after his death.. and it works with the same theory as a "standard" Tesla coil. have you ever seen one in operation? because you would change your mind if you had lol.... they are allot of fun. good to demonstrate the effects of RF

That's the real deal, I bought one at a flea market for $25.00 and sold it on ebay for over $500.00

It's a quack medical device supposedly able to cure everythig from corns to cancer.
