hi guys,
here's the sob-story: I'm selling IRFP450 MOSFETs in order to scrounge some money for a proper oscilloscope, so I can continue my class-E contraptions, and for other things (like my degree).

Please read the small print.

1170947574 63 FT0 Irfp450s

I know how difficult it is for Aussies to get components these days. You might have to:
  • - struggle with US sellers who don't ship internationally,
  • - worry about international shipping co-ordinating with Australia Post,
  • - get upset when AU customs holds your package for no apparent reason,
  • - realise the seller didn't use an antistatic bag, etc, etc, etc.

The IRFP450 is a 500V, 14A device.
I'd like to sell them for AUD$2.99 per MOSFET.
They are genuine International Rectifier MOSFETs, not ST etc and come with handy free stuff. *1

I'm happy to ship them anywhere in Australia, it won't cost more than a few dollars. *2
If you live in the Sydney CBD, I'll deliver them personally by bicycle for free. (Wilson?)

Here's what the competition sells them for:
  • AUD$4.77 from allied electronics
  • AUD$5.13 from mouser
  • AUD$14.43 from farnell
  • AUD$8.47 from digikey
  • AUD$5.78 from rockby electronics

I have a direct-depositable bank account, a paypal account, and will take cash or cheque, too. *3

Cheers, and to a better oscilloscope! smile

(If you live in another continent and would like a few, please post! I'll happily ship them back out of Australia :P)

*1 - I will include a complimentary laserprinted datasheet AND printed gate-drive guide for your convenience. smile

*2 - And the first three responders will get free shipping within Australia, and I mean that. cheesey

*3 - If you pay by credit card, I'll receive a FREE theoretical negative discount as my paypal account gets ripped off for merchant fees, but I won't charge you extra, because I'm a sook. smile

Thanks Alessandro, will dispatch today for free =)

Two free Aussie shippings and plenty more MOSFETs still up for grabs.

International guys, you're welcome to dig in too. I have some similarly well-priced other FETs and medium diodes available, too, which I'll describe if someone can show some interest.

Guys, what must I do to move this stuff?! ^_^ angry

Next person (yes, anywhere worldwide!) to post in this thread gets an IRFP450 in the mail, free. Pssh. tongue

I also have 8 x MUR3020 ultrafast diodes for AUD$3.49ea (nice ones by ONsemi). These are 200V 30A devices (dual package with common cathode)

Would you like fries with that? I have some oh-so-complementary 4 x MTW32N20E 200V 32A MOSFETs for AUD$4.99ea to go with them, if someone's interested.

hi Thom, thanks for posting. You can pay for four and I'll send you five. =) Will check in at the post office tomorrow for you re: airmail -- it shouldn't be more than a few dollars.

edit: Thom, airmail to Canada of up to 32 MOSFETs can be covered for USD$2.50

Hi guys, I've put these same MOSFETs on eBay in batches of 32 with a cheap starting price of AU$2.49ea.

See http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260091801810 for info =)

And now I've put them on eBay USA, so normal people (yes, I believe America really is the center of the universe) can buy them too.

hi guys, I've relisted these on eBay Australia AND eBay USA so normal people can buy them, too. :P
Arg, still can't get the 'quantity' function working... but I'm still offering free shipping with 'buy it now', cuz I'm a sook. =P
