Do you have a lot more bandwidth than you need?

I am hosting 18 files of 200MB each that is using a lot of bandwidth. As the picture shows it ate up 300GB in less than 6 days before I ran out last month. So at least 15GB/month would be needed to host a file and if you can't set up a limit on the file the traffic will most likely push your website over the limit.

The requirements are no advertising, no popups and no nonsense.

I would also be interested if anyone has a 100% reliable BitTorrent tracker.

Check google video... someone already put the series up.

I like the clever water clocks they built.

I don't have an excess of bandwidth, but if you want to put them on BT, I can help to seed them.

I link to both Youtube and Google video at the top of the page but it does not seem like people like those versions as much.

I tried BitTorrent but that did not work well for weeks and most of the transfer was coming from my computer since no one is interested in seeding. Then suddenly 150 people arrived from some webpage and it worked fine for a few TB then the tracker just decided to quit.

I have plenty of extra bandwidth on whiteplasma.com with no nosense.

What would really be helpful for all the kind people offering you hosting is if you made a small system (e.g. just a few lines of PHP) to distribute the load evenly over the hosts.

If you're interested, please get in touch.

I have at least 20GB of extra bandwidth on hv4all.com, haven't create a web page yet so at the moment i am only using about 0,5-1GB a month.
If you're interested, please get in touch.

This sounds promising. There would be little point in uploading all the files to all the servers and not all the servers would be able to fit 3.6GB of files.

So what if there is one text file for each data file that contains the possible URLs for that file then the PHP program picks one at random and checks if the file is still online, then it checks a file of counters to make sure that server is not running out if space, if everything is ok it redirects and decrease the counter for that server. Once every month it resets the counters.

That would be great, and you can control the bandwidth sucked from each target. Email me at mattb SSS at SSS relati .com after removing the "S"es and I'll give you a site, port, user and pass.

I had to learn PHP first, but everything is up and running now. That means that even 2GB a month would be useful since everything is automatic.
