All,

Great news on the equipment front.

I just bought a new Rigol DZ1054Z, due to the old one getting a bit flaky on the magenta channel. No input in the 1V/div and 2 V/div. setting.

The new one came with all options pre installed, and at no extra cost! This means that I don't have to "Riglol" it and thus can keep the warranty on it.
I doubt they unlocked the 100Mhz option though, but anyway a great bargin in instrumentation.

-Oh, and by the way, "they" exchanged that pesky fan with one that is as silent as the 19dB unit I fitted in the old one, which now goes into the workshop/service trunk.
