I've got a 240volt, 100amp pulse in the 100us range, I'll like to convert that to a low ripple voltage source, and the voltage level I'm not to worryed about. I thought maybe two capacitor the one that is lower in voltage gets charged, then switched over a really long time, and high resistance. There a buck circuit but that change the pulse time.

My instinctive answer is; add series inductance. BUT Your question is unclear:
Do you have a 240 V voltage source with a 100A limit? or a 100 A current-source with a 240 V limit? or a capacitor charged to 250 V ? or a generator or , , , , , ,

From your information you have a recurrent pulse with a frequency of 10 kHz. What is the duty cycle of this pulse? 100 % would give you 2.5 watt seconds.

Sorry for the lack of detail. I'm discharge a capacitor, it takes 1us to discharge but takes one second to charge. I can't charge the capacitor well it is discharging. If I use a inductor, it slows the discharge and charge. I'm trying to make a low ripple voltage source from the capacitor to feed a inverter or charge a battery.

You'll need some kind of power supply on the output from the capacitor. Depending on what voltage you would ideally want as the output, a boost, buck or buck/boost converter would be your best bet. You can set the pulse time yourself with the addition of a transistor switch and timer circuit.
Looking at your number though, you only have 2.4 J of energy stored in your capacitor. That is a very small amount, and a lot of it would be wasted in the DC-DC converter.
Capacitors are not a very efficient storage solution unless you don't mind the voltage dropping rapidly as they discharge.

There are some reversible chemical reactions endothermic in nature that would use that burst of energy to shift , then revert back.
And I cant damn well remember how !
But this I know, those little flat lithium clock batteries used in handy cams, can be zapped back to life, to fool the processor into dropping the error message, and will stay alive for days.
Do a Thomas Edison. Try zapping the current into something wet and salty, and see if it becomes a battery.
