The pump is a two-stage oil filled rotary vacuum pump Vacuubrand RZ2:

At first the pump did not turn at all, although enough vacuum oil was inside the pump according to the sight glass for the oil level.
I put the motor axle free, and I tried to turn the pump mechanically back and forth. Then the pump with motor drive went normally about 10 minutes, then apparently the rotary resistance became stronger and stronger and finally the engine stopped spinning. A recommendation from the friendly manufacturer of this morning: Disassemble and remove possible obstacles for easy turning.
Here are repair instructions:

And operating instructions:

Check your motor start and run capacitors

I will do this but the necessary torque to turn for a small angle the axel of the pump mechanically with a tool is now extremely large.
