Hi all, The picture below is of the primary tube completely covering the secondary. I have a YU-108 tube that needs a 700 volt @ 1 amp max. bias control to oscillate the tube. I cannot get enough drive power with a tickler coil to do start oscillation. I need to know if there is a IGBT or Mosfet that can work at 350- 360 kHz. and 700v at 1 amp. I am considering driving this with a signal generator or one of Steve's driver boards. Or is there another route I can take?
I have tried modifying my other VTTC with a large coil around the secondary and there is enough power but the tuning is way complex.
Any help would be appreciated.

There are surely other choices these days. But even 15 years ago, the BUZ80A would have met those requirements.
