Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and not a coiler like you guys but I am working on a wireless charger project that works with the same principle as a tesla coil. The focus of my research has been the design of the transmitter and receiver coils. Because I am not expert in electronics I really need your guys' help. I am trying to use Daniel Kramnik's h-bridge and drive it with Steve Ward's universal drsstc driver UD 2.7C. I have only recently discovered these two boards and am really having a hard time wiring them together and the fact that I haven't had any prior experience with tesla coil circuitry doesn't help either. Now I've been trying to learn as much as I could about these two boards but I'm running out of time. My h-bridge has to take in 110 V AC and output a square wave in 80-110 Khz range. I have to present my project in 3 weeks. Please guys I need your wisdom with these things:

- how to make the gate drive transformers for the fga60n65smd igbts on the h-bridge
- what connects to the solder pads p1B, p1A p2A, p2B
- what connects to solder pads s1g, s1e...s2g, s2e...s3g, s3e...s4g, s4e
- how to integrate the driver board with the h-bridge in general

I would appreciate any help! Thank you in advance!

The labelling of the Transformers could be done clearer P1A /P1B primary of transformer one. P2A/P2B primary of transformer two.
S1G /S1E would be secondary 1 gate and secondary 1 local earth(ground) these are not in any way actually grounded, perhaps would be better labelled as source. Here’s where it also gets additionally confusing it is not clearly stated which secondary pairs actually belong to which transformer.
Looking at the schematic it seems both Transformers while driven from separate drivers are driven from the same logic outputs, effectively meaning the two Transformers are driven with the same phase, this makes it simpler as you can relabel them yourself.
For example
Transformer T 1, secondary 1, driving MOSFET S1 GS .
T1, secondary 2 driving MOSFET S2 GS . Obviously secondary one and secondary two need to be 180° out of phase.
Repeat for T2 MOSFET s3 and s4 , remember the relative phases of the two Transformers are also important as MOSFET s1 and s4 need to be conducting together likewise s3 and s2 the easiest way to ensure this is just to swap the primary connections of one of the Transformers.

I would really recommend powering up the gate drive board first, and confirming the phases are correct at the gates with a two channel oscilloscope before applying mains power to the H Bridge board.
Important Note remove all the scope ground leads from the H Bridge before applying power to that board as there is no isolation there.
Finally the gate Transformers appear to be driven from 24 V full Bridge drivers this may be too high for a 1:1 transformer so probably intended for 2:1:1 ratio transformer i.e. + / - 12v gate voltage.
I hope I’ve made sense.
