Hi. Cost of a moment's clumsiness: neat 2mm hole punched in 24 way ribbon cable. 6 broken traces needless to say the LCD display does not work! 4 of them are signal traces and two power, any chance of repair? the hole is fairly neat and the traces either side look in good shape.
So far I've not had much success with these so hence why I am asking first. Kapton tape is on order and I have access to silver pen, Z axis tape and *30 magnifier etc.
thanks!

I would peel back the broken traces either side of the hole and individually splice and heatshrink them followed by a good wrap in PVC or kapton tape over the whole lot.

Will try this, thanks. Someone also suggested grafting very thin wires through each severed trace then using a small drop of silver conductive adhesive at each end.
