Just joined the forum I have always had an interest in HV making jacob's ladders with neon transformers and so on. But to cut to the chase i have got my grubby mits on some bits of radar gear from an air port and theres one transformer that puzzles me i cant find any think on google. Its made by southern transformer products ltd stp No 7161 and its about 160mm tall with a spark gap on top.
if any ones got any idear what its for or what its rated for it came with a big 10kv transformer, some big shoe box sized 10kv capacitors (which are only marked T0 and T1 not + and -), HV rectifiers and some outher bits.
Thanks dylan

You could contact Transformers and Rectifiers Ltd. who seem to have bought Southern Transformer Products. Apparently they have a database: Link2
