New multimeter VC99

I just got my new multimeter today.

It is auto-ranging and has frequency/duty cycle measuring capabilities. I just tried this on the 555 in my flyback driver and it seems to be quite accurate in both cases.

Just need my scope probe to properly test out my old analog scope that I got for free from a Latrobe University lecturer. I only have a crappy home made probe at present so I have no idea whether the linear ramp I am seeing coming out of my 555 is due to a low band width on the scope or some artefact of my crappy probe.
