Thoughts ideas.

There are many points to discuss about it, however, there are many flaws in the project.
Firstly, you need to consider w hen power supplies are connected in series, without any limiting devices, what’s the current flowing in a closed circuit. It seems like there is a short circuit. cheesey

He only wants to know what to call it, not whether it works or not!

How about an Andybulator?

At work, we used to call anything of obscure or complicated function an interocitor Link2

A battery flattener.
Quite possibly, a fire starter.

Slightly looks like a flux capacitor

I've always wondered why they have a window in the enclosure, and then have a warning written across it saying 'Shield Eyes From Light' cry

Would it not be simpler and cheaper (and safer) to use an enclosure without a window?

What's a circle with an 'x' inside it? Can only assume its some kind of switch. The way it's drawn in Andy's original diagram it will only short out if all the -Whatever they are with 'x's conduct at the same time- No clue what the thing in the center is either?

Andy you have quite a creative alternative way of viewing or designing circuits, While I believe thinking outside the norm should be encouraged, and your ideas are unique. Perhaps provide a more detailed description and how you've established it works.

While there's nothing to stop you calling it anything you want, like an artist names a piece of work. Is it going to be useful to others?

The idea was to turn one switch on then off then the next one in a circle, the current from the battery will go clockwise charging up a inductor, when the switch turns off, it acts like a cap, diode voltage multiplier, withe contious times around the circle, I was hoping the voltage would continue increase, to messure the voltage would be between opposite side, say four batterys in a circle messured across one should make 36volt out of 48.
The centre thing is like a sparkplug switch on a car, with the circle and X anything that is a silcon switch.
Tryed simultaing it, and even with resistance in the network, after awhile if the switch are all open, current keeps circling for awhile, but the goal of contious voltage increase didn,t, it stayed at 12 plus and 12 minus(simed with two not four)

Maybe you should look at Marx generator design, Andy?

EDIT: Or CW multipliers?

A "one cycle won't filter" comes to mind
