I need a rotary spark gap. I suppose I could build it if I had time, but my plate is full right now, so I prefer to purchase an existing one, or, have it custom made.

I already read the 4HV archives looking for sources/vendors for rotary spark gaps. Checked Ebay and searched many HV sites. If I can locate a source, vendor or custom builder of rotary spark gaps, I will be happy to discuss the specs with them.

Helpful comments are appreciated.

I'm not really aware of any off the shelf source for an ARSG/SRSG. That aside, you might have better luck posting in the sale section. =)

You'll probably still have to build it due to cost alone. Most of us build them because of the cost factor. I think TSR still has gaps for sale.

I have access to an absolutely beautiful (never used) rotary spark gap that is a work of art, I paid 1/3 of $2500.00 for it (three of us split the cost). It it has adjustable tungsten electrodes and more can be added. It is run from an elevated fractional HP motor on a very thick double stacked Al base and made to be easily assembled and disassembled. The plan was to use it with a 10kVA pole pig on a giant 15 foot spark Tesla coil. I do not know if they will agree to sell it but can ask, I'm sure the price will not be below $2000 if you are interested.
