thats some pretty deep R&D. I cant as Ive got my hands full. but others maybe.
As said radiating 100% but receiving 3% will generally be worthless. Hence extreme directionality needed, definitely from the transmitter, and I would presume the receiver too.
I like the other ideas, a blue laser would be cool, and probly work, just dont go shooting your eyes out.

I understand where you're coming from - maybe some general explanation can help me understand the principle and method in which they can make this product work on a relatively small scale?
Of course, I do realize what I'm asking for is ridiculously small, even compared to this product. But, it's the closest example I could find out there that uses a potential "similar" concept to what I'd like to use. Or, at least the idea behind it seems to be on par.
Any "easy" solution to making it work off of IR? Say have an array of IR LEDs to beam light to a solar powered LED or some other LED receiver setup?
