similar things happened although at a much lower scale in UK with a building in London that can melt cars (only the plastic component) and with a concave mirror sculpture which is rumored to fry pigeons

would there be a sensory capability to detect and track these events, thus categorizing type and nature of the streamer? I think Google should pay my community college to find out. (out of social and enviro-responsibility.) we students could put a program together to monitor the streamer time and location, then based on decent of the object (likely dead a body), then a search of the area could retrieve said body and identify species and what not.
i doubt if trash and bugs make up the majority of the streamers, as it just seems to unlikely.

I'm sure Google or Amazon could make a device that tracks birds in the immediate area with radar and if one is heading for the beam, the system sends a quadcopter to chase it away.
