I recently bought a pair from a reputable distributor, and the red lead had an open circuit. Took them in for replacement, and the second set was not much better. While the red lead tested fine, reading below 1ohm, the black one reads ~130ohms. Frustrated, I gave it a couple of hard twist at the wire entrance and it's now reading ~2ohms. That's not the fluke quality i expected, not happy...
