Thrust Stand and Propeller Modification.


Purpose and Goals:

First, to evaluate categorically the propellers being used for multirotor use, using tables.
Second, to confirm or invalidate power reduction by cutting propeller tips back, (high mass low velocity change props).
Third, make much better estimates on duration of flights for a given battery mass.

*NOTE: there is one premise above all others i want to prove or disprove. that as blades get wider, steeper in pitch but shorter in radius they produce thrust at lower overall velocity change in the slipstream (given constant power input and RPM).

yep, then i can post real in depth data.
volts, amps, watts, RPM in increments, prop pitch, prop dia, force, throttle increments, velocity of flow.


EDIT: im also trying to figure out derivatives for each prop maker, each prop, and in the categories of:
derivative of radius as dV/dR (velcoity/radius)
derivative of mass as dR/dM (radius/mass)
derivative of thrust as ??? power in? maybe?

but i need to look at my calculus book and sober up some...
