Hi, I have been informed that counterfeit SSRSs are doing the rounds. The fake units are very similar to the genuine ones and were sold online, however they are of very poor construction internally and have isolation of a tenth of the genuine article so if people use them for controlling off line tesla coil projects etc they could be an immediate danger to life or property.
Please ensure that you visit this site
This is in no way a hoax or spam, please be advised that this as a very serious issue indeed and people could end up maimed or DEAD!!! if they use these as primary isolation in their projects. Also see I am in no way commenting as to the authenticity of other parts but we have been burned before with "too good to be true" offers so an ounce of prevention and all that.

I wouldn't bet my life on any semiconductor switch, counterfeit or not. Every electrical code I know of requires real mechanical switches for isolation.
