whats sad, is that in the Chernobyl MI Hind helicopter lift/dumps, we know now the boron and cement missed the most emissive parts of the reactor remenants they were aiming for. losing thier health and the pilots still not accomplishing much. just like standing in radioactive water at Fukushima for a door that wont open.

and yeah thats a great task, evaluate and then drop, evaluate then drop, measure effective change then adjust and continue.
(repetitive and dangerous---robots work.)

however, one of the Russian "honchos" , told a western journalist, "Those robotic vehicals were really useful, but they didnt solve all the problems as we'd hoped. Youd get the machine there (at a high radiation zone), and it'd start acting funny, soon not working at all."

but be that as it may, im optimistic, its a character flaw...

ill be upping a the machine here in a few hours for a test hop.

EDIT: two test hops successful, shows some roll sensitivity, but I'll tune that back.

Effectively implementing reactor safety training programmes to cope with Chernobyl and Fukushima-scale disasters must be politically very diffcicult, since the existence of the programme would amount to an admission that it is as least possible for the reactor to run so out of control that it becomes a global hazard stretching over decades.

The brave helicopter pilots who flew missions to dump boron and concrete into the smoking ruin of the Chernobyl reactor probably had to make it up as they went along.

Windscale, Three Mile Island, Chernobyl, Fukushima - it will happen again, but no one knows where, or when, or how bad it will be.

i smashed her in abit while testing the PIDs, but she flies, and ive gotten rid of the oscillations in the roll axis.

the kickstarter project will be launched here in the next few days.

OK, in a supporting role i've launched a KickStarter here : Link2

This is for a LiDAR, its a supporting device of the main Tri-Copter which will be launched after this one. This is just an update, not spamming or link bombing is intended.

just had a few thoughts on your design for commercial use;

on the subject of damage, it would be nice if the airframe is easy to repair. e.g.
. all parts available at reasonable cost
. all parts easily replaceable

once you have a commercial version fixed;
. supply any upgraded parts required due to design or manufacturing errors free of charge
. ship units that fly well out of the box, e.g. all flight parameters loaded
. start a user forum asap to encourage adaptation and provide feedback for improvements

before you fix a commercial version get some friendly beta-testers
. to see if they can get from box to air with NO problems
. to rectify weaknesses in documentation or design/manufacture

I am useless with remote control vehicles, my nephew instinctively operates any,
I think that you need both types of customer and tester.

yes i came to the same conclusion, people with much and people with no experience.

but first, ill probably be launching a drug/vaccine version for places like tiny villages Africa, and a war crimes version for journalists first. (so they dont risk kidnapping or head loosening in some cities/battles)
my previous KickStarter failed not totally, but in large part to those who each wanted a physical device. Yet they didnt want to pay enough for it.

So instead of launching on the technology side, ill launch under the social or environmental section. These people tend to be willing to support projects with one-off devices for the greater good.
