Perhaps you have heard about a hardware manufacturer called Sipex, I hadn´t. They seem to have been bought by Exar, another not so well known brand. Sipex has some quite interesting notes on Loop compensation of Buck converters, and also something I still wonder why the "big ones" don´t have: Spreadsheets to calculate the components of type ll as well as type lll compensation networks. And a note on how to choose between type ll and type lll networks.
