I keep seeing strange symbols like these in datasheets:
YYDmWbE

where do they come from, i cant seem to find any information on them at all?

Transistors with multiple emitters or multiple collectors. Equivalent to multiple transistors in parallel, in most cases.

you see the same thing with two-grid FETs, darlingtons, etc but the symbol is more straightforward
