sportive medicine and osteopathy are the key

as soon as one of my dorsals starts itching, I have to get them replaced otherwise they act as mutual mortars and pestles and I'm off to bed for a couple days

Please get well fast, even if that means a reduction in the number of your posts smile

Thanks for the well wishes.

Shrad, normally I can feel when my back is 'delicate'
this time no warning, just putting on a sock and cry

there are causes that can be easily spotted, like too much driving or bad habits

my back started to be rude with me since the moment I drove a car with false leather seats, which was so bad my dorsals had rotative friction between them when I was driving and alternately activating the pedals (my ass was rotating when changing ratios)

I had several weeks of 13 hour days at a big pharmaceutical company with many jams to get there, and I was down to bed for a week after that

I can just understand your pain ;)

most of the solution is body placement for lifting, but also for things like putting socks on ^^ always sit for doing such things..

Good Advice, first did in my back about 1986,
had a few 'spells' since, don't want the operation.

To anyone with a bad back
.. get a car with auto transmission, not manual. and loose weight.

nervosity also plays its role as muscles can be permanently a bit contracted and prevent vertebras to move like they have to, so relaxation or sophrology can be some nice things, as would be yoga or massages....

for 19 years I lived in Malaysia where I could get a really good massage (medical!)
now when I visit it's almost impossible to find a traditional massage .. progress.
