You need to recheck your connections. Your DC power is coming across the gate. Redo your breadboard. Recheck the components and diodes on that limb. Replace all components. Without looking at it myself I can not say what is wrong other than this should not happen if done correctly.

The secondary output of my gdt is connected as Steve's high voltage fly back driver. It does not switch my mosfets on when I try to connect them like it shows on your schematic. Could this be the problem?
