Hi All

I have start to use SIMetrix/SIMPLIS program and I need criate a model. I need a help to:

1- Modeliing a small spark gap >> min. rupture voltage 240V, min holding current 100mA.

2- Modeling a trigger diode (Diac) DB3 >> breakdown voltage 35V, breakover current 30mA

3 -Modeling a Sidac K2400G >> Breakover voltage 230V. min.holding current 60mA.

Any suggestion will be very welcome

Thanks

Newton

Hi,
You may download the Sidac 240V model fron the ON Semiconductors. Do not use the "copy and paste ", use the " save the target as " from the Windows pull down menu.

Somebody may help with the diac or spark gap model ?/

Hi !

Also you may dowload the models for Sidac from Littelfuse. It appears that they are more updated than other manufacturers

It is possible to fix the Littelfuse model. Changing the resistor RH to 5K, and the resistor RH2 to 5K the models work as a sidac....
