Hi all. Got fed up with having to have my Pi sitting on a desk so decided to make the memory card smaller to fit the Heathkit 100MHz crystal box I was given.
Turns out that the 4GB cards sold at Maplins and other places don't use as much of the card as most and in fact even have accessible data pins if you take them apart.
Enjoy!
Next challenge is making the 1st USB port vertical so I can cut a small hole in the shielding (nickel) and put the Wi-fi antenna next to it so that it can access the Net. There isn't quite enough room to allow both USB ports to be used at the same time so I'm going to add an internal 16GB flash or possibly a USB-HDD converter and a 1.8" drive if there is enough remaining space once the four 1.5AH lithiums and their associated charger are fitted.
