Jeez, that's one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time! Where can I get one??

In all seriousness though, what are the odds of a tutorial for this kind of setup?

That's awesome...something similar is on my to-do list!

Well just one of them at least. Any details on the build?

Here's the thread: Link2

Steve's flikr has pictures showing parts of his projects as he updates. You'll have to click back for a while to get back to the qcw gun.

This is actually the Mk. II Tesla Gun which was designed by a team consisting of Steve Ward, John Forcina, and myself. The major difference between this gun and the old one is that this design loses the SLR supply feeding the bus and instead just has a monster battery pack. The battery pack is a 96S [fully charged ~ 400V] LIPO battery rated at 2.2AH. The bridge utilizes the same FGH60N60SMD transistors, but twice as many for a total of 16 (four full bridges).

The water cooling system is probably a bit overkill. We used a pretty powerful pump and added a heat exchanger. Originally we were going to try submersion cooling, but as it turns out it's pretty hard to get a coolant that has low electrically conductivity AND has good thermal conductivity. We considered Fluorinert, but that stuff is really expensive. In the end there were manufacturing problems with the manifolds anyways (The 3D Printing we had done was not water-tight)

In the end we decided to just go with a copper cooling block and insulate the IGBTs with kapton thermal pads.

The resonator employs an internal MMC like the Mk. I gun, but this MMC is beefier. I think the resonator as a whole is lower impedance as well. The four bridges inside the pack are driving four parallel primaries. This is achieved by using litz wire which is comprised of four twisted bundles.

I don't' have many pictures of the pack or resonator, but here's one that I took while i was constructing it:
