Hello everyone! I'm in the process of rounding up some parts for my first Terry filter and Tesla coil, and I need a little advice. Where is the best place on-line to find parts? Digikey seems to have a good selection but it's tough finding exactly what I need without sifting through a ton of pages.
Are there any places you know of that cater to high-voltage hobbies?

I recommend using Octopart - they index a lot of different suppliers and help you find the best price for your component :)
You will find a lot of interesting, unique, and vintage parts on ebay too, it's probably the best place to find transformers and a lot of other HV parts online, but of course it can be a bit hit-and-miss. Alan at the TeslaStuff ebay store has a lot of tesla specific items, although sometimes at a bit of a premium - but he is a top notch salesman and a good source of advice.
For tesla coil specific parts you might want to take a peek at easternvoltageresearch.com as well.

Thank you! I did just buy handful of parts via Octopart- it was a lot easier to sift through and get what I needed. I have seen Alan's stuff on Ebay and I do plan on hitting him up for some spark-gap advice as well as parts :)
I'll check out eastern voltage research too. The name is too cool to ignore :P
... now if I can just resurrect my transformer.... :)
