Sounds interesting, although I'd use way more safety precautions such as a dual constant current and a crowbar to make sure that current can't get more than say 1mA. Also using a 9V battery is a spectacularly bad idea because these can put out close to 300mA which can be fatal if it gets near the vagus nerve (!)
