I measured the waveform of my SSTC And I found serious ringing problem on my gate drive waveform.I increase my gate resistor but it didn't help.Later I found the input of UCC37321/2(output of 74HC14) is also ringing.Sometimes when I draw an arc, the ringing disappears.
My MOSFET heat up fast.I think this ringing might be the reason.What can I do to stop ringing?
My test setup. 25VAC input.half bridge MiniSSTC with voltage doubler.
Channel 1 is MOSFET Vgs. Channel 2 is primary current.Channel 3 is primary voltage
Channel 1 is MOSFET Vgs. Channel 2 is input of UCC37321/2(output of 74HC14).

I agree. I get that from time to time. Also, your circuit looks really close to the coil, try shielding it and/or moving it away a little bit. You might find less interference on your probes when they are further from the coil, and same goes with the circuity. I wouldn't use more than 5.1 ohm gate resistors
