What the heck is this cap!?

Hi guys, I can't figure out what this cap is. It is a ceramic (I think), rated, 102 (OK so 1nF), C1K... What does the C1K stand for?

Likely the dielectric type as in Class 1 dielectric which has a very good temp coefficient.

Damn. I was hoping it wasn't... Difficult to find those caps...

Nevermind. I can just spec C0 and those are easy to get.

Whats the application? I can't see you needing something better than NPO / C0G.

In the EIA RS-198 standard for Class 1 ceramic capacitors - for C1K - C specifies the temperature coefficient in ppm/K as 0.0, the next number is the temperature coefficient multiplier, and the letter code K is the temperature coefficient tolerance ±250.
