The first page of google turned this up: As for the ones that are already cut, drilled and tapped, I don't think they don't make them as separate parts.

Are you planning on using a spoilboard with your set-up? If so, i would research some examples on how hold done is accomplished with a spoilboard as this may influence what type of base you use with your CNC router. Depending on the type of hold down techniques you are using, you may not need the T-slotted base.

Are you just after the 'T' slot plate, or the whole 'sliding table' (some suppliers seem to use the term 'slide table', but I've always called them 'sliding tables').

Some DIY routers I've seen just use a piece of MDF for the table, and I guess the workpiece is screwed to it with woodscrews. When the MDF gets too full of holes just replace it. I suppose this is what EVR refers to as a spoilboard.

Yes, that is correct. The spoilboard is just that - a spoilboard. Generally MDF is used for a spoilboard and it if first planed using a large surfacing bit to make the top surface of the spoilboard perfectly flat with respect to the Z axis. Then if the CNC machine is set-up properly, you will almost never cut into the spoilboard. But as it is a spoilboard, if you do cut into it by accident, or whatever, it is easily replaceable. Most CNC router manufacturers have a built in program to prepare their own spoilboard for their particular table - some even including provisions for T-Slots or other hold-down type hardware and/or vacuum table slots etc...
