I have a flyback / ne555 set up which works OK. The problem I have is the RF from the flyback circuit is being fed into the audio source - a cassette recorder I know this because if I play the cassette recorder normally and bring the audio input lead near the recorder the speaker gives a harsh crackling noise that swamps my audio.
I have got the Audio to be good .. for my purposes but I need to eliminate what I consider is the RF getting into the Recorder
I have done a search on the forum but have not found an answer .. sorry if there is one and I did not find it

Could be tricky. A cheap portable cassette deck will have sensitive analog circuitry in a poorly shielded plastic case. Might be worth trying a MP3 player instead. They're digital so there is less analog circuitry to pick up RF.
You could also try wrapping the cassette deck in tin foil. Ground it to the audio output ground (sleeve terminal of the jack)

Shielding the coil circuitry to prevent all RF from coming out of it should also work. An LP filter for the audio input that then goes into a low impedance input (maybe ~100ohms) might also work/help.
