Hi again guys and girls! Allison here again. I have another beta test I'd like to get underway and am excited to again offer it to the guys and gals here at 4HV! This time around we have our new universal modulator which we are designing for an exciting new commercial DRSSTC product line that we plan to release by years end. This modulator, or interrupter as some call it, is designed to work with virtually any DRSSTC driver system that has a fiber optic modulation (interrupter) input. It also features two of the most commonly used fiber optic transmitters to provide maximum compatibility with existing DRSSTC products and other universal controllers already on the market and in use by amateurs around the world.

The unit will be fully built, assembled, and tested. No assembly will be required. This is true for both the beta test units as well as the final end item product.

To be a beta tester, we do require that you have a working DRSSTC system and that you integrate this modulator into your working DRSSTC for evaluation.

Features:

- ATMEL microprocessor controlled
- EMI shielded enclosure
- Fiber optic output (HFBR1412T and IE96 type emitters)
- Pulse Output Mode (Pulsewidth and PRF Adj)
- MIDI Output Mode (8 Selectable Channels / Polyphonic Output / User Variable PW and Linear Mapping Setpoints)
- Standard 5-DIN MIDI Input Connector
- Hardware Discrete implemented PW Protection circuitry (PW settable by user)
- User programmable PW and FREQ setpoints for both PULSE MODE and MIDI MODE
- Power LED / Fault / Status LEDs
- 9V Battery Powered

Please PM or drop a response here if you are interested in becoming a beta tester. Please note that there are limited number of beta test units available and that responding to this inquiry does not guarantee a beta test spot. Please PM with your name, address, and a description of the DRSSTC system you will be testing the modulator with.

Here are some pics of the initial test units.

Very neat. I'm looking forward to seeing how people do with the MIDI. 8 selectable channels! Can you play multiple channels at once or is it only polyphonic per the selected channel?

Ready and willing to test anything for EVR, Dan can attest to that! If you have another open spot count me in!
You guys have my address already.

This looks sweet. Would love to give this a try on my MiniBrute - installing the Fiber receiver now. Happy to do any testing to help out.
