Sometimes it is nice to just do something on a whim with no expectations what so ever. It is also nice to remember how much you can do with just the basics.
Secondary: 7" of 30ga on a 3.25" form. From my first SSTC, will be used in an upcoming SSTC. NST: 7.5/30 (from my first SGTC) MMC: 17.6nF (from my first SGTC) Spark Gap: two 1/4-20 bolts shoved in a water bottle (to block UV and noise) Primary: 5T of 10ga on a 4.5" form. Modeled coupling factor (k): 0.127

Nice job with that slap up TC! However for me I'm total perfectionist when it comes to electronics, so I spend more of my time making things top notch
Doesn't that spark gap heat up the bottle quite a lot? Especially considering it's sealed with no ventilation...

It would if it was actually sealed. I was quite sloppy with my knife and gashed the sides pretty well to slip in the bolts. I never ran it more than a minute or so per run, and only ran it about 10x before taking it apart.
I'm the same way with my solid state work, this was just a nice little deviation.
