How can I test an RF transistor to see if its good or busted?

I have the MRF454 transistors and I need to test to see if I've damaged them or not. What's an accurate way of doing this?

Nevermind...I'll just see if the voltage drops are 0.4-0.7 V between Base and Collector and between Base and Emitter using the diode test function.

you could setup a small class A amplifier and stick it to the reference signal of your oscilloscope.. or setup a small oscillator

If the base bias voltage looks right and collector current behaves consistently, then the transistor is in all likelihood good. The back-to-back diode test is a good test of the BE-BC junctions as well...
